who i am

I am a woman intrigued by the depth of the human mind and called by imagination. I was born and raised in the small town of Galena, IL and inevitably wound up in Chicago, the home of my generations’ past. I am a proud BFA Acting/Sociology graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University.

My desire as a performing artist is to combine my love for acting with my love for all people/cultures and to share my views on the meaning of social justice; the acceptance, freedom, and celebration of all humankind. I aim to challenge and inspire, while being challenged and inspired through the magic of human movement and connection, both on the stage and on the screen.

My passion for creative teaching has manifested itself through my work as the Director at The Theatre School at DePaul’s Summer High School Training Program, as well as a teaching artist at Northwestern University's "Cherubs" program, where I was a cherub myself. My work with the socially progressive children's theatre/circus group, Circo Fantazztico in San Isidro del General, Costa Rica is a testament to my mission to allow my artistry to lead me around the world.

Aside from acting, teaching, and traveling, I harbor a deep jubilation for writing in various styles, moving to music, and cooking dishes that bring the heat.

I am proud to be represented by Grossman & Jack Talent (acting/print) and NV Talent (voiceover).
